Aerts Electro Mechanics has been a reliable partner for the industry since 2009. What began as a small service business has grown into a multidisciplinary team numbering more than 20 specialist engineers, ready to tackle any challenge. Today, our focus is on maintenance, repair and optimisation of dock cranes, dock machinery and bridge cranes, complemented by a broad portfolio of services in mechanics, industrial electrics and assembly.

  • Founded

    Joran Aerts founded Aerts Joram Electrical & Mechanical Works, which was active in the construction sector and industrial sector.

    2009

  • Focus on industry

    Deliberate choice to specialise fully in the industrial sector. Began to offer maintenance and repairs to bridge cranes, dock cranes and machinery. First fully equipped service van on the road.

    2012

  • Professionalisation

    Establishment of Aerts Electro Mechanics BV. Investment in a mobile workshop and high-tech service van for projects in Belgium and the Netherlands.

    2015

  • First international job

    Contracted for the first assembly project in France.

    2017

  • First employee

    An important milestone: the first employee joined the company, marking the start of our team.

    2018

  • Expanding capacity

    More engineers and service vans to meet the growing demand in Belgium and abroad.

    2020

  • New operational base

    Relocation to a modern industrial building in Lebbeke with our own workshop for CNC machines and conventional turning and milling, a plasma cutting table and a large welding area. Started to build electrical cabinets to order.

    2022

  • Breakthrough into port services

    Successful completion of complex mechanical overhauls and electrification projects in the port sector.

    2023

  • Expansion to over 20 engineers

    Our service team passed the milestone of 20 specialists, on call 24/7 to ensure continuity for our customers.

  • Ready for the future

    Appointment of a Sales & Operations Manager and a Business Development Manager. Further professionalisation and growth as an industrial partner.
