Your role as a service technician / breakdown technician:

You are responsible for maintaining the operational readiness of machines and tools related to the port and industry. (port cranes, mobile harbor cranes, industrial machinery, and production environments,…)

• 

  Performing periodic maintenance according to specified regulations.
• 

  Performing repair interventions at our clients' sites.
  

  Quickly and efficiently detect, analyze, and resolve malfunctions.
  

  Working on hydraulic systems.

Your profile:

As a Mechanic, you have a secondary education diploma in (automotive) mechanics or equivalent experience. Aerts Electro Mechanics is also looking for the following profile:

• 

  As a Service and Breakdown Technician, you have a secondary education diploma in electromechanics/electricity or equivalent experience.
• 

  Basic knowledge of PLC (Siemens S7), controls, motors, and basic mechanics
• 

  Knowledge of hydraulics
  

  Willingness to work shifts (2-shift system)
  

  Excellent communication and people skills
  

  Able to work independently, but also as part of a team
  

  Punctual, organized, and detail-oriented
  

  Maintain composure under pressure or tight deadlines
  

  Environmentally and safety conscious
  

  Hold a B driver's license
